Sir John Parker is the Chairman of the Advanced Plasma Power advisory board.
His career to date has encompassed the engineering, shipbuilding and defence industries. He currently acts as Chairman for several companies including Anglo American Plc. and is Deputy Chairman of DP World (Dubai).
Sir John is also a Non-Executive Director of Carnival Plc., Carnival Corporation, Inc., and the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), Sir John is also Chancellor of the University of Southampton.
He was previously Senior Non-Executive Director (Chair) of the Court of the Bank of England, a former joint Chairman of Mondi plc, a former Chairman of P&O Group and of RMC Group plc, a former Chairman and Chief Executive of Harland & Wolff plc and Babcock International Group Plc and a former Chairman of National Grid.
Sir John was knighted in 2001 for services to defence and ship building.
Paris Moayedi is a member of the Advanced Plasma Power advisory board
Paris is Executive Chairman of Advanced Plasma Power Limited and has spent over 40 years in contracting with a number of major companies. He was Chairman and Chief Executive of Jarvis plc during which time he built the company into the largest contractor in UK before leaving 8 years ago. He has raised over £12 billion in project finance.
Paris is also Chairman of Tetronics Holdings Limited, the global leader in direct current plasma arc systems. He is Chairman of Platinum Recoveries Limited, the UK’s largest exclusive auto catalyst recycler.
Sir Peter Mason KBE is a member of the Advanced Plasma Power advisory board.
Sir Peter has extensive experience in engineering, construction and complex capital investment businesses. He is currently Chairman of the board of Thames Water and is also the senior non-executive director of two companies: BAE Systems Plc. and Subsea 7 S.A.
He retired as Chief Executive Officer of AMEC Plc. in September 2006, and was previously Chairman and CEO of Balfour Beatty Limited.
Sir Peter was made a Knight Commander of the British Empire (KBE) for services to International trade in 2002.
Rt Hon Brian Wilson is a member of the Advanced Plasma Power advisory board.
He was a Member of Parliament in the UK from 1987 until 2005. Between 1997 and 2005 he held six government posts including Scottish Education Minister, UK Trade Minister, UK Energy Minster and Prime Minister’s Special Representative on Overseas Trade. In 2003 Brian became a member of the Privy Council.
Brian has an MA Honours Degree from Dundee University and University College, Cardiff, where he took a Postgraduate qualification in Journalism Studies. Before entering politics, he worked as a journalist and founding the West Highland Free Press in 1971.
Rear Admiral Robert Clark (Retired) is a member of the Advanced Plasma Power advisory board.
He is Chief Operating Officer of Leveraged Green Energy which is a significant investor into APP Ltd.
During his naval career Rear Admiral Clark achieved multiple qualifications up to and including Command-at-Sea and Operating Forces Command. Awarded the Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal, Rear Admiral Clark also has six US Navy Commendation Medals including a Meritorious Unit Commendation.
Rear Admiral Clark is President of BC International, Inc., a global electric power industry consultant company (nuclear/fossil) engaged in addressing technical, operational and market issues in the U.S. and overseas as the impact of deregulation and privatization drive dramatic changes.
He has extensive senior level international experience as a corporate executive with Westinghouse Energy Systems, in his responsibilities representing the U.S. Government’s interests as a Rear Admiral (Retired) in the U.S. Navy, and in his current international business with BCI.
Rear Admiral Clark earned a 1st Class Honours Degrees in Economics and Mathematics from DeSales University, Pennsylvania, before gaining a commission to the US Navy in 1972.
