The Gasplasma® technology has the benefit of patent protection in the UK and Europe. In addition international patent applications are pending to ensure truly global protection in up to 50 major countries around the world. The patent protects the technological breakthrough of combining conventional gasification with a secondary plasma treatment for the production of a very clean high calorie syngas and a vitrified, environmentally benign product. International divisional patent applications are also pending with respect to the combination of pyrolysis with secondary plasma treatment.

Extensive international searches and freedom to operate analysis have been undertaken to ensure the strength of the company’s extensive intellectual property portfolio.
